Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

To provide account access, memory keeping, AI-assisted echoes, feedback, and reminders, Still Telling may collect your phone number, email address, Apple or Google sign-in identifier, display name, user ID, text you enter, relationship details, life clues, photo copies or photo records, letters, support feedback, notification permission status, push tokens, and necessary logs.

2. How We Use Information

We use this information for sign-in, verification codes, account recovery, saving and syncing data, restoring data across devices, generating AI-assisted echoes, providing reminders you enable, security, troubleshooting, and customer support.

3. Photos, Text, and User Content

Photos and free-form text are used only when you choose to provide them. Because the app is designed around personal memories and letters, this content may be linked to your account or local user ID so that the app can show, restore, organize, and process it for app functionality.

4. Third-Party Services

SMS verification may use Alibaba Cloud SMS services. Email verification may use Alibaba Cloud email delivery services. Sign in with Apple is provided by Apple, and Google Sign-In is provided by Google. AI-assisted echoes may use model services configured on our backend. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Permissions

Photo access is requested only when you choose photos. Notification permission is requested only when you enable reminders. You can change permissions in system settings, and you can clear or delete supported data in the app.

6. Retention and Deletion

You can review, edit, supplement, export, or delete supported account data. If you delete your account, server-side data associated with that account will be deleted where deletion is technically available and legally permitted. Some local-only files may need to be cleared on your device.

7. Children

Still Telling is not designed as a service specifically for children. Minors should use the app only with consent and guidance from a parent or guardian.

8. Usage Statistics

To understand where the app helps and where it loses people, Still Telling records anonymized usage events on our own servers: which screens were opened, whether a letter was sent or an echo arrived, how long an echo took, and which language and app version were in use. These events never include the text you write, names, or life clues. They are tied to a random device identifier and, when you are signed in, to your account so that we can count returning users across devices. No third-party analytics SDK is used. You can turn this off at any time under "Privacy & Data" in the app.

一、我们收集什么

为提供账号、记忆保存、AI 回响、反馈和提醒服务，想起你时可能收集你的手机号、邮箱、Apple 或 Google 登录标识、昵称、用户编号、你主动填写的文字、关系、生命线索、照片副本或照片记录、来信记录、支持反馈、设备通知授权状态、推送令牌和必要的日志信息。

二、我们为什么收集

这些信息用于完成登录注册、账号找回、验证码发送、资料保存、换设备恢复、回响生成、你主动开启的提醒服务、安全风控、错误排查和客服支持。不同功能会尽量按最小必要原则使用信息。

三、照片、文字和用户内容

照片和自由文本只在你主动提供时使用。由于想起你时的核心功能围绕个人记忆和来信，这些内容可能与账号或本地用户编号关联，用于展示、恢复、整理和实现应用功能。

四、第三方服务

短信验证码可能使用阿里云短信服务；邮箱验证码可能使用阿里云邮件推送服务；Apple 登录由 Apple 提供；Google 登录由 Google 提供；AI 回响可能调用后端配置的模型服务。我们不会把你的个人信息出售给第三方。

五、权限使用

照片权限只在你主动选择照片时请求；通知权限只在你主动开启轻提醒时请求。你可以在系统设置中关闭权限，也可以在想起你时内清理相关资料。

六、保留与删除

你可以查看、修改、补充、导出或删除支持范围内的账号资料。删除账号后，服务器上归属于该账号且当前技术能力和法律规则允许删除的资料会被删除。部分仅保存在本机的文件，需要你在设备上单独清理。

七、未成年人

想起你时不面向未成年人提供专门服务。未成年人使用前应取得监护人同意，并在监护人指导下使用。

八、使用情况统计

为了知道应用在哪一步帮到了人、在哪一步让人离开，想起你时会在我们自己的服务器上记录匿名化的使用事件：打开了哪些页面、是否寄出了一句话或收到了回响、回响等了多久、使用的语言和应用版本。这些事件不包含你写下的文字、名字或生命线索。事件与一个随机生成的设备编号关联；登录后也会与账号关联，以便统计换设备后仍在使用的人。我们不接入任何第三方统计工具。你可以随时在应用的"隐私与数据"里关闭它。
